Earls Barton Cricket Club

Earls Barton Cricket Club has recently undergone significant facility upgrades thanks to Verde Cricket and the expert installation team at Cover Solutions. The club now boasts a brand new double bay practice facility, featuring newly installed batting and bowling ends. By incorporating individual batting and bowling ends, the club can better manage maintenance costs and extend the lifespan of the playing surfaces. The facility includes both of Verde Cricket’s two ECB-approved systems: the Test Match system and the Premier System to suit the needs of all the members of the club.

The Test Match system features an advanced AP10 shock pad that minimises surface wear from ball impacts, supported by a 10mm dust stone layer, making it one of the most sophisticated designs on the market. Our other ECB-approved system; the Premier System builds upon this by adding an extra layer between the hard porous aggregate and the AP10 shock pad, ensuring consistent bounce for all age groups while enhancing spin and seam play. Both systems incorporate RBG tex layers, which help prevent contamination and improve durability.
