Putting Surface

The Putting Surface should be constructed with our 15mm Super Verdeturf. This is a polypropylene finely fibrillated tufted artificial grass which is exclusive to Verde. A partial sand infill of 8-12kg of kiln dried silica sand should be dressed into the pile. This protects the tufts, holds the grass in place and prevents the pile becoming directional. The putting speed can be altered by the addition of more sand, surface rolling, weather conditions or vigorous brushing.

Super Verdeturf is supplied in rolls 2.00m or 4.00m wide by your required length. It should be installed over a compacted aggregate base to ensure adequate drainage is provided.
