The Challenge
Like many cricket clubs, Rankins CC had a practice area that had served the club well for many seasons but had begun to show its age. The existing cage structure, netting, and surface had deteriorated, while the underlying base required significant attention to ensure it could support a modern training surface.
Rather than installing a new surface on top of an ageing structure, our team recommended a full strip-down and rebuild approach. This ensures the finished system performs exactly as intended and maximises the lifespan of the installation.
The Solution
The project began with the complete removal of the existing cage system, netting, and worn surfacing. Once the area had been cleared, our team carried out extensive base preparation works to revive and stabilise the foundation of the facility.
