Newly Renovated Match Pitch at Wrea Green CC

Wrea Green Cricket Club, based in Lancashire, has recently completed a major upgrade to its facilities with the renovation of its existing match pitch. The club can now proudly boast a premier match pitch featuring one of the two ECB-approved systems supplied by Verde Sports Ltd.

The original pitch had reached a point where significant repair was essential. Working in partnership, Verde Sports Ltd and the expert installation team at Cover Solutions delivered a seamless service from start to finish, breathing new life into this historic, community-driven club.

The club selected Verde’s Premier System, which includes the exclusive Premier Pad, providing a high-performance surface suitable for both training and competitive matches. This innovative solution significantly reduces ongoing grounds maintenance, offers a reliable alternative when weather conditions disrupt turf wicket preparation, and helps maximise use of the playing surface throughout the cricket season.
