Verde Tee Turf

This superior quality artificial grass has a multi–length pile, which is 45mm high, natural in appearance and extremely hardwearing. It was launched in 2004, way ahead of any technology currently on the market today.

The Verde Tee Turf  is of a Hybrid Design, tufted from a mixture of knit-de-knit fibrilated route zone and a straight spined monofilament 45mm pile.  This unique thatch holds the straigth yarn near vertical.  The construction is popular with pay and play courses on a budget and is a relatively low maintanence solution for many golf clubs.  The thatched base should be filled with a mixture of kilnd dried silica sand and a rubber crumb infill:  ratio of 2 parts sand / 1 part rubber.

This infill will then create a product that supports a rubber tee peg in any position.

Verde Tee Turf is designed for use on a Golf Winter Tee but is also and ideal surface for football touchlines and other sports, as well as providing an uncut appearance for road verges and landscaping applications.

Winter Tee applications require a mixture of sand and rubber to provide a synthetic tee that not only grips the tee peg in any position but allows the club to drive through the pile with no resistance. Verde Tee Turf should be laid directly over a compacted aggregate base with a mixture of kiln–dried silica sand and rubber granules brushed into the surface of the grass. One 25kg bag of Rubber, mixed with two 25kg bags of sand, will dress 3 sq.metres of Verde Tee Turf. (see our Verde

For home use Verde Tee Turf is designed to be installed over an unbound compacted base with either a sand or sand/rubber infill.
