CONSISTENT DAY AT ROUND 6 OF THE BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS

REVO BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS – R6 – SCHOOLHOUSE – 2nd July 2023

The sixth round of the British Championships took the team over to the North East to Schoolhouse, another new venue on the calendar.

The track was in good shape and it was set to be a great weekend.

BAILEY JOHNSTON:

QUALIFICATION:

Bailey soon found his groove out on track and put a decent lap together on his first run. After a couple more attempts, he managed to improve his time, which put him 15th on the board at the end of qualifying.

MX2 RACE 1:

A decent start for Bailey in race one saw him in sixth place on lap one. Finding his flow for the first few laps, he lost a few places and found himself settled in 13th place. Unfortunately, on the final lap, a little mistake would lose Bailey another place dropping him back to 14th place at the chequered flag.

MX2 RACE 2:

Bailey didn’t get away as well at the start of race two, which saw him down in tenth place after lap 1. As the race went on Bailey dropped down to 14th Place. This is where he would be placed at the finish.

OVERALL:

P14-P14 = 13th Overall. A consistent day for Bailey.

QUOTE FROM TEAM MANAGER, ADRIAN KIRK:

It was really good to head to a new venue for the British Championships. A consistent day for Bailey, working hard all the way.
