Seaton Carew CC Refurbishment

Courtesy of Verde Sports and the expert installation team at Cover Solutions Ltd, Seaton Carew Cricket Club has successfully completed the refurbishment of its two-lane cricket practice facility after 20 years, marking an important investment in the club’s long-term future and player development programme.

The project involved the refurbishment of  surfacing to the existing two-bay practice nets. Works included lifting the original shockpads, with the existing base carefully examined, levelled, and infilled where required to restore it to its original installation condition. As the shockpads remained in good condition, they were reinstalled as part of the refurbishment process.

The upgraded facility now features ECB-approved Test Match System, one of Verde Sport’s two ECB-approved systems designed to enhance bounce and pace for players of all ages and abilities. The new surfaces were installed to provide a full playing area measuring 30.00m x 12.00m complete.

The completed refurbishment has provided Seaton Carew Cricket Club with a significantly enhanced practice environment for both senior and junior players, reinforcing the club’s commitment to developing the next generation of cricketers while supporting its established playing members.
