2 Lane Renovation at Lancaster CC

The project involved the supply and installation of new surfacing and shockpads to the existing practice area, alongside a 4.00m extension to the run-ups, bringing the total length to approximately 30.00m. The existing cage was re-installed, with replacement poles provided where required, while new netting supplied by the club was installed as part of the works.

The existing base was also renovated and improved to ensure it met the required standards of our ECB-approved Premier System, providing a high-quality, durable and professional practice environment for players of all ages and abilities. The completed facility offers Lancaster Cricket Club an improved training environment for individual development, team preparation and continued player participation.

A key feature of the renovated facility is our ECB-approved Premier System, which incorporates an additional Premier shockpad to increase bounce while enhancing player comfort and impact absorption. The system provides a high-quality playing surface designed to deliver consistent performance and durability throughout the season.

The facility has been finished with a distinctive two-tone olive and tan carpet, creating a smart, contemporary appearance while complementing the club’s wider refurbishment. The contrasting tones help define the individual practice areas and provide the facility with a clean, professional finish.
