Fylingdales Cricket Club, a well-established community cricket club set within the picturesque surroundings of the North York Moors National Park on the Yorkshire coast, has taken an important step forward with the installation of a new, purpose-built one-lane practice facility. The investment provides the club with a dedicated, high-quality training environment in a truly scenic setting, giving players of all ages and abilities the opportunity to develop their skills and enjoy cricket throughout the season.

The new facility features our ECB-Approved Premier System, supplied by Verde Cricket and installed by our expert installers at LFP Environmental. This advanced system incorporates a Premier Pad – a component exclusive to Verde – positioned between the AP10 shock pad and a specialised hard porous aggregate. The fibre-bonded carpet is attached to a 3.5mm foam backing, providing a consistent playing surface with reliable bounce and excellent ball reception for both spin and seam bowling.

Designed as a new-build, one-lane facility, the practice net provides Fylingdales C.C. with a durable and dependable surface for batting and bowling practice. The consistent playing characteristics allow players to train with confidence, supporting skill development across the club’s senior and junior sections.
